Tom was born and raised just outside of Slippery Rock.  He is a graduate of Slippery Rock Area High School and went on to Penn State Erie, The Behrend College to receive a degree as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist.  After working as a general contractor for a number of years, Tom accepted a position at S.R. LAW, LLC in early 2011. That same year, Tom made the decision to proceed on to Law School to further his roles in our office and enrolled in the University of North Dakota, School of Law in Grand Forks, ND.

During his time at UND, Tom represented the University of North Dakota, along with fellow students Sharon Lo and Erica Woehl, in the Region 9 TYLA Trial Advocacy Competition.  Region 9 consisted of representative teams from the law schools located in ND, SD, NE, KS, WI, MN, and IA and the three earned the title of Region 9 Finalists after three days of competition.  Tom also earned the Jack Marcil Scholarship for Excellence in Trial and Appellate Advocacy during his time at UND.

In his free time Tom enjoys working on the family’s farm outside of Slippery Rock where they raise and care for a growing herd of bison. Tom also enjoys hunting both deer and waterfowl in the fall and can typically be found outside doing just that on the weekends during that time of year.

Tom practices in the areas of Real Estate Law, Oil and Gas Law, Title Review, Business and Corporate Law, Construction Law and Agricultural Law.  Tom also devotes a small portion of his practice to Criminal Defense and Family Law issues.
